Alice Springs police have arrested two kids for allegedly stealing a car and driving dangerously through the town.
Police allege a Toyota Hilux was stolen and seen driving dangerously North of Alice Springs on the Stuart Highway at 8am Tuesday.
Tyre deflation devices were deployed in an attempt to stop the youths from driving, but this was unsuccessful.
The Hilux was later abandoned by a group of 4 youths in Eastside, with Patrol Dog Huey then deployed and catching a 12- and 13-year-old.
The two youths remain in custody and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
Strike Force Viper are currently working to find the 2 remaining youths.
