A woman remains in Royal Darwin Hospital after being allegedly attacked with an edged weapon.
The 28-year-old woman was walking along Rocklands Drive, Tiwi, in the early hours of Monday morning when a man allegedly assaulted her and punctured her left lung.
The man is believed to be known to the woman.

Detectives from the Domestic and Family Violence Unit are investigating, and police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 131 444.
