A woman is due to front Katherine Local Court today after an alleged domestic violence related assault.
Police responded to reports of a 31-year-old-woman with lacerations to her body at the Low Level Reserve in Cossack on June 23rd.
She was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital in a serious condition, where she went into emergency surgery and currently remains.

Police arrested a 27-year-old woman at the scene and she has since been charged with unlawfully causing serious harm.
