Three youths have been charged for stealing a car and causing significant damage to a business in Darwin.
The kids aged between 11 and 12 allegedly smashed a window of a business in Woolner before trashing the place and stealing loose change in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police say they caused more than $30,000 damage to the property.
The trio then targeted a business in Winnellie where they allegedly stole a Toyota RAV4, which they took on a joyride across the city.
The police communications centre received multiple calls about the vehicle being driven at high speeds on the wrong side of the road, forcing other cars to move out of the way.
Strike Force Trident and the Dog Operations unit eventually found the vehicle dumped off Vanderlin Drive in bushland.
The youths were arrested as they exited the bushland and have since been charged with multiple offences.
