A tenth person has been arrested over a ram raid at Berry Springs Tavern.
It’s alleged a group drove a stolen car into the venue and stole a large quantity of alcohol before fleeing last month.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man in Darwin yesterday.
He has since been charged with aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle, aggravated unlawful entry, stealing and causing damage to property.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland says the arrests have been a joint effort.
“Strike Force Trident, Dog Operations, Drug and Organised Crime along with Wadeye and Daly River local police have all worked together to facilitate these arrests.”
“Six [people] were arrested on 19 October, two on the 21st October, one on the 24th October and the final offender was arrested yesterday.”
Detective Bland says police are committed to holding offenders to account.
“Police will continue to investigate long after the offence has been committed, eventually we will catch up with you.”
“This was fantastic work from NT Police with everyone involved in the offending due to appear in court for their actions.
The 36-year-old is expected to face Darwin Local Court today.
