A teenager is facing multiple charges after crashing a stolen car into a Palmerston shopping centre.
Police allege the 16-year-old girl stole a Lexus from a Darwin City apartment at 4:45 Thursday morning.
The teenager allegedly drove the stolen car to Palmerston before losing control at a roundabout, mounting the curb and then crashing into the shops on Temple Terrace.

Police say she fled from the scene, and they arrested her a short time later.
She’s been charged with a string of offences including using a vehicle without consent, driving a vehicle recklessly, driving a motor vehicle while unlicensed, and not stopping after a crash.
The teenager is due to face court today.
