A teenager has died and another fighting for life in hospital after a car crash on the weekend.
Three boys were travelling in a Toyota Starlet at around midnight Sunday before the driver lost control, hitting a concrete drain and rolling, with the driver and a passenger thrown from the car.
A 15-year-old was declared dead at the scene, with the 14-year-old passenger taken to hospital with serious injuries and another 14-year-old suffering only minor injuries.
Police investigations have confirmed the car is not stolen, and it was seen driving erratically through Coolalinga before the crash.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner says support is being offered to the families and first responders.
“This is a tragic incident and support is being provided to the families of the children and to the first responders and members of the public who were on scene.”
