A man has been arrested over a fatal stabbing in Darwin City.
Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance involving a group of people on Cavenagh Street at about 11.30pm on Friday and found a man with stab wounds to his stomach.
The 36-year-old was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but died on Saturday.
Major Crime Squad Detectives arrested a 28-year-old man over the alleged killing at a home in Jingili at midday today.
He remains in the Palmerston Watch House and is expected to be charged later this evening.
