A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting another man and stealing a women’s car, in Darwin.
Police received reports, at around 5.45pm yesterday, of an intoxicated man causing damage to a passing car near the Darwin Bowls Club.
The man driving the vehicle, stopped and the offender allegedly assaulted him.

Police say a second vehicle stopped at the scene and the driver, a woman fled the scene before the offender stole the vehicle.
Officers conducted patrols, locating the man at around 8.00pm last night.
He was arrested for multiple offences.
