A man who allegedly robbed an Alice Springs pub while armed has been arrested and charged.
The 24-year-old is accused of breaking into a hotel on Scott Terrace at 4.30am yesterday, leaving a trail of damage.
He went on to allegedly threaten an employee with a blunt weapon before fleeing with a quantity of alcohol.
The man was later arrested on Harvey Street and has since been charged with five offences including aggravated robbery and going armed in public.
The 24-year-old has been remanded in custody to face the Alice Springs Local Court today.

“It was the quick response from the Alice Springs general duties members that allowed for the successful apprehension of the alleged offender.”
