Investigations are underway following an aggravated assault in Darwin CBD at the weekend.
It’s alleged a man approached a vehicle on Mitchell Street early yesterday morning (June 23), before he was assaulted with an edged weapon.
Police allege the man was speaking to the driver of the vehicle before the assault took place.
It’s alleged the offender fled the scene shortly after in a silver Nissan Navara.
St John Ambulance crews transported the victim to the Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
A crime scene has been established on Mitchell Street between Peel Street and Mott Circuit.
