A man has been arrested for allegedly stealing a baby bird from a Darwin pet shop.
The 39-year-old is accused of stealing the $1200 from Pet Stock at Jape Homemaker Village on Monday afternoon.
After investigations, detectives arrested the man on Thursday morning in Durack, and he is expected to be charged.

The baby bird has been returned to the store and is unharmed.
