Police have arrested and charged an alleged bikie prospect in Darwin.
A taskforce assigned to the gang apprehended the 33-year-old man, alleged to be involved with the Mongols Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang, at a business in Berrimah.
Police says the man tried to flee, but in doing so crashed into two vehicles – one being a police car.
He was arrested after a short pursuit in North Crest.

During a search of the man’s vehicle police allegedly found 116 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of cocaine, 20 tablets of unauthorised prescription medication, as well as a firearm, ammo, cash and drug utensils.
The man was arrested and has since been charged with 15 offences, including supplying and possessing schedule 1 drugs, possessing a firearm and failure to obey a police officer.
