A 21-year-old man is expected to be charged after allegedly assaulting two transit officer on a bus in Palmerston.
It’s alleged the man boarded the bus with a knife in Moulden at around 8.30 last night (June 19), before approaching and threatening the pair of officers.
Authorities say the pair managed to restrain and disarm the man until the bus arrived at the Palmerston Bus Exchange.

Upon arrival at the station the man was arrested by police.
He remains in custody and is expected to be charged with aggravated assault and weapons offences.
