Disturbing Metal Object Found in Womans Pizza Hut Delivery

A recent incident at a Pizza Hut outlet has left a customer stunned after discovering a metal rod baked into her takeaway. Amber, 24, expressed her shock on Twitter, sharing a photo of the peculiar item lodged in her margherita pizza. She questioned the fast-food giant, tweeting: “Hey umm @pizzahutuk, can you explain this?”

The bizarre object, appearing to be hooked at both ends, lined the edge of a pizza slice. Observers on social media speculated that it might be part of an oven mechanism that fell onto the pizza during cooking. A former employee stated it looked like a component from the oven’s conveyor belt, addressing concerns about significant safety lapses.

Despite the unsettling find, Amber claimed she only received an offer for a pizza replacement rather than a refund. In response to a concerned Twitter user’s comment, she retorted: “They didn’t even offer a refund, just a new pizza. How is that okay?” Amber further expressed scepticism over Pizza Hut’s claims that there was no metal in their kitchen.

In light of this incident, a Pizza Hut spokesperson stated, “We are aware of this incident and are investigating it as a top priority. Customer safety is paramount, and we are conducting a thorough review. The incident is isolated, and we are in communication with both the customer and the franchise involved.”

This occurrence harks back to a similar situation last month in the UK when a mother discovered a potentially dangerous item in her son’s friend’s chips at a seaside vendor, highlighting ongoing concerns over food safety.
