A Japanese artist is giving new meaning to “put your money where your mouth is” through an unusual product that is equal parts amazing and totally gross.
The Mouth Coin Purse looks and feels like a real skin-covered jaw complete with a mouth with teeth that opens for you to store your money in.
Social account chisramsay52 shared his thoughts on the creation via Instagram.
As curious as this is, it could actually be a good way to save money as who would want to reach into the thing to get the money out?
The coin purse even has holes that look irritated where you can attach a chain so you can wear it around your neck for all to see.
The official site has lots of other unusual body part-inspired items as well, there’s the USB Flesh-Drive shaped like a “Thumb” or how about the 6-sided dice with a blinking eye for the number one?
The mouth retails for around 440,000 JPY which translates to around $4,507.75 AU. So it’s safe to say that you’d have no money left to put in your coin purse if you got one.
So the real question is, how does the artist make them appear so real? I don’t think we want the answer.
