A man is facing a string of charges after being caught allegedly driving under the influence of drugs in Adelaide River.
The 36-year-old was stopped by Adelaide River and Batchelor general duties police at a random alcohol and drug testing station on the Stuart Highway on Monday morning.
It’s alleged he tested positive for cannabis and amphetamine, and upon a search of his car police found 30.4 kilograms of cannabis.
The man has since been arrested and charged with driving with a dangerous drug in his blood, possessing a schedule 2 dangerous drug, and supplying a schedule 2 dangerous drug.
He is due to front Darwin Local Court today.
