A 62-year-old man has been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital after allegedly being stabbed.
A 25-year-old man is accused of stabbing the victim with an edged weapon in a Tiwi home at 8:45pm Thursday.
Police and St John Ambulance attended the scene where the offender was arrested.
It is believed both men are known to one another, and the 62-year-old has non-life-threatening injuries.
The 25-year-old is expected to be charged today.
Detectives from the Domestic and Family Violence Unit are investigating, and anyone with information on the alleged assault is urged to contact police on 131 444.
