A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a minibus driver in Palmerston.
Two people approached the minibus to use the service on Temple Terrace before an altercation occurred with one of them and the driver at around 3:50pm Thursday.
The driver suffered from a broken leg and multiple broken teeth from the alleged assault and was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.

A 32-year-old man is currently in custody in relation to the incident and charges are expected to be laid later today.
Police are urging anyone with information on the alleged assault to contact them on 131 444.
