4 youths have been charged in relation to an aggravated robbery in Darwin City.
Police say two women were walking on Cavanagh Street when they were assaulted by a group of girls at around 9pm on June 16.
The group allegedly stole cash and items from the women before fleeing the scene, with the victims suffering from multiple cuts and bruises – with one having a broken finger and needing surgery and an arm cast.
Detectives from Strike Force Trident have since been investigating the assault and arrested the four girls, aged between 12 and 15, on Tuesday.
They have all been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of damage to property, and have been bailed to appear in court later this month.
